Dave and Barbara Asplet started the company almost 27years ago in a small shop in Vickery Street Hamilton. Since then their client and product base has grown to include some of the most respected names in the industry.

DAMS currently operates from two sites:

Kahikatea Drive, Frankton with a 4 bay workshop and one drive through lube bay servicing  all road transport equipment.

Horotiu Road, Horotiu with a 5 bay workshop servicing all construction equipment specialising in Komatsu branded equipment.

Both workshops run extensive parts departments with the administration office held at the Frankton branch.

Dave and Barbara have since sold the business to Peter Goodwin and Dianne Mulhern who have been share holders in the business since 2002 and completed the purchase in 2004.

Staff numbers have climbed to include 5 dedicated field mechanics, 9 mechanics on shop floor, 5 parts staff and Karen and Ellen in the office.

Peter and Dianne’s focus is on continuous quality improvement and to always exceed customers expectations.
